About
Okay, well—the world is burning. Our lands, seas, atmosphere, and even our communities are polluted, trashed, commodified, and depleting at dangerous rates that threaten a point of no return. Our politics are gridlocked, extractive, and nationalized, feeding cycles of exploitation instead of healing. If you still have the ability to care for, or act on your care for, our Mother Earth, that capacity is slim—and often directed inward for survival. But what if caring for ourselves and caring for the Earth weren’t separate? What if our health was interwoven with the bumblebees, the Spanish moss, the dandelions, our next-door neighbors, or even our bus drivers? What if every act of care could nourish both ourselves and the larger system we belong to? The simplest, most powerful place to start is to be where your feet are. This program is about learning (or remembering) how to live intentionally; rooting our actions in place, presence, and reciprocity. We’ll explore what intentional living means and why it matters more than ever in this moment of ecological and cultural crisis.
